I love watching sports and am amused by all of the experts who weigh in on which team will win the big game. My favorite saying is, “on paper they are a much better team and should easily handle their competition”.

Then the game takes place and the underdog comes out on top, what happened? The experts will usually make excuses for why the favorite didn’t win or how the intangibles that can’t be measured made the difference. Yes, the intangibles are really about the mental, emotional, preparation, energy, teamwork, seems important right? Well it is easy to get caught up in the physical skills of athletics. Start today by examining what is “not on paper”. Take an inventory of your focus, confidence, and energy throughout your day. These factor will in the end make or break your success.
